After just over a year of using b2evolution as my blog engine, I’ve decided it’s time to swap over to WordPress. After a bit of research, I realised just how much more support WordPress has from the community. Just by looking at the sheer number of themes available made me drool all over it.
In just one day, I managed to migrate the entire blog over, suprisingly with little hassles! What impressed me was the Gallery2 integration possible with g2Image plugin. It took a bit of fiddling around, and I eventually had to upgrade my Gallery version to 2.1 to get it working. But it was worth it. I can now insert images directly into each post from the images I stored in Gallery!
It’s sad to see b2evolution go, but then again, I definitely can see myself bloging a bit more!
