What?! No Facebook access in China. The infamous Internet Filtering of China is directly affecting me right now! What am I going to do? How am I going to update my friends & family? How am I going to ‘poke’ people now??
I almost thought it was some problem with my laptop, before I realise this is the work of the Chinese government blocking my ‘essential’ tool! They could have at least put a nice (or hostile) page to say, “It’s Blocked” or something. Instead, it will just throw up a “Page Not Found” error, as if Facebook was down.
It’s only a matter of time, before I discovered, they have also blocked the site that I used to learn Japanese! Now what’s wrong with that!? Surely that’s a mistake? I am not allowed to learn Japanese in China?
*Sigh*… I have only been here a day, and I can see my freedom of information taken away from me…… Let me just sit at the next corner and cry a little bit, before I move on.
