No, I’m not talking about my life. Certainly not about stripping. In fact I’m not talking about ANYONE’s life or strippers! I’m just talking about my trusty old computer. Now why the hell do I want to talk about that?? Because I had it since my university days almost 8 years ago!
Computers are suppose to change at an incredible pace, and if you blink your eye, it’s already "Out of date"! Being a tech-freak myself, there’s no doubt I like the latest and greatest! Yet my Intel Celeron-400 have been with me for over 8 years! It had a few small upgrades done here and there (like a graphics card, and a couple of hard drive upgrades), but essentially remained the same. It hummed along very reliably, without any issues and was keeping up! But soon (about a month ago), it was apparent that it’s had its days. One small mistake with plugging a PS/2 mouse into a running Windows XP, killed it permanently. Various techniques (even CPR) were tried to revive it, and it was no longer revivable. It has finally come to the end of its useful life.
Of course, being a cheap asian, I soon realised that I CAN still revive this old junk, and turn it into the glory & envy of all again! Is it possible? Amazingly YES! How? Well, strip EVERYTHING out of the case, and replace EVERY PART inside it, EXCEPT THE CASE!! Yes, some fashion aficionados would look at it, and say it’s a bit old and rather ‘beige’. God knows what could happen to me, if an Apple guy saw this.
And many of you will go, WHY? Why do you want to do this?? To save $39.99!! If you’re Asian, you would understand! But really, as much as I call this case a junk, it’s been with me long enough for me to give it another chance. It’s like reviving the old Volkswagen Beetle.
Anyway, I was able to get ALL the parts below, and put them together without ANY issues! So, here it is.. It is now running some pretty decent piece of hardware underneath!

Same old ugly exterior. TOTALLY NEW Interior. Certainly, a speed daemon once again.
