Got to love Google sometimes, with its subtle image changes on the main search page. This time it’s a completely interactive logo! It’s Les Paul’s (the legendary guitar creator famous for creating the ‘Les Paul’ guitar) birthday, and Google decided to honour him with a playable Les Paul right on the home page!!
Just run your mouse over the strings, and you can actually make a random tune out of it!!
Click the little keyboard icon, and you can then use your keyboard to belch out a pretty decent tune from it! Now, don’t expect it to sound anything like a real Les Paul! But, for a semi-guitar fan, it was enough to amuse me for a little while. Don’t know if this page will still be there tomorrow though.
Looking forward to when Google put a Fender or Ibanez guitar on the homepage!
